The BT Home Hub 2.0 was released on Friday July 17th 2008.
Here's what's changed in the latest upgrade to BT's Broadband device:
802.11n: Support for the faster 'n' wi-fi connectivity protocol - increased range (with suitable wi-fi hardware)
Power-save mode: Better green credentials - the Hub can go into a powersaving mode.
Simpler software: Easier to use, and faster to set up
More Ethernet ports: Four Ethernet ports, not two
Greater access control: Set "no Internet" times for your kid's computers

BT Business Broadband Hub 2700HGV
The gateway’s modem supports broadband speeds of up to 24 Mbps, which is necessary for delivering IPTV. The modem also provides the best real world ADSL2+ stability and immunity under impulse noise conditions, with enhanced bridge tap, long loop, and disturber performance. In addition to its TR-68-compliant modern physical design, the HomePortal 2700HGV series includes integrated Voice over IP ports, and is software-ready to support wireless/wireline convergence. The HomePortal 2700HGV supports the DSL Forum’s TR-069 industry standard, ensuring compatibility with any standardized back-end component management system, and introduces TR-059 and pre WT-098 support for carrier-grade Quality of Service and policy provisioning. The gateway also includes an extensive suite of diagnostic tools, including proactive Web tools for automatic subscriber assistance and self help.
